A new grass roots, online campaign has been set-up to help ensure that the most shameless of the MPs involved in abusing their expenses system resign or are challenged by an alternative independent candidate at the next general election. That candidate will be chosen by online voting, X-factor style, and will offer the shamed MP's natural voters an alternative, in line with their political views. Otherwise these same voters are, in effect, dis-enfranchised.

The shameful abuse by some MPs of their expenses system brings politics and politicians into disrepute and the public is rightly outraged.

Many would consider that some of the abuses are so shameful they warrant the resignation of MPs concerned. However, it would appear that these shameless MPs are looking to "ride out the storm".

This would simply be intolerable for voters of that party at the next election - faced with the dilemma of either voting for what many would term a dishonourable incumbent or voting for a party they do not feel naturally aligned with.

Independent candidates selected and supported here can answer that dilemma and hopefully deny shameless MPs, who lack any moral compass, the opportunity to continue in parliament.

The campaign needs help and support from all members of the public who are rightly disgusted with some of our MPs.
