Vote for "The Most Shameless MPs"
Submitted by Ian on Tue, 02/06/2009 - 12:10
Phase two of our campaign - the selection, by your votes here, of "The Most Shameless MPs" (shameless in as much as they have abused their expenses allowance but still intend to, and are being allowed to, stand again at the next general election).
VOTING IS NOW CLOSED
N.B. Our poll here uses a Borda Count method. The Borda Count is a single-winner election method in which voters rank candidates in order of preference. The Borda Count is often described (by people you would not want to be stuck in a lift with) as a consensus-based electoral system, rather than a majoritarian one. You can read more at Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borda_count (if you are that way inclined).
N.B. Of course, if any of the "TOP FIVE most shameless MPs", as decided here, are de-selected, expelled from their party or decide not to stand at the next election - they would be removed from the "top five" list replaced with the next most shameless from the poll results below.
[Jim Devine, de-selected 16th June 2009].
